PMC focuses on short-term projects which can have a major measurable impact on the profitability of the company. Our methodology is designed to take into account the fiscal needs of our clients. Another important aspect of our methodology is that we have divided our business into four divisions: the sales and marketing division, the consulting analysis division, the consulting projects division, and the mergers & acquisitions division. Of significant importance is the separation of the consulting analysis division and the consulting projects division. Why have we done this? If you think about it, every business consultant performs two separate functions for a client. Before a consultant can fix a problem, he first has to analyze it and come up with recommendations. What we have done is un-bundled our consulting services so that the client can purchase the analysis and ensuing recommendations without obligating himself to purchase the implementation of the solutions phase. This allows our clients to purchase our services on a more a la carte basis. It also allows our company the opportunity to place before the client for a modest fee, a business consultant, who can demonstrate our extraordinary capability and competence through their analysis and, if appropriate, develop specific recommendations for outside assistance (corrective actions which would, when implemented, increase client profitability). Through our mergers & acquisitions division we assist individuals and businesses interested in achieving superior results through our assistance in planning, structuring, and managing business transactions. Our firm offers our clients a wealth of experience in all areas of transaction diligence, acquisition management and operations management. We introduce capital sources for expansion through equity partners. We often act as intermediaries providing assistance, advice, early stage diligence, transaction negotiation, or solving client problems. We feel that our experience, coupled with our network of relationships formed over the past 50 years, allows us to guide clients to opportunities and results that might otherwise allude them. We maximize value! We often represent corporations and individuals in the sale or divestiture of operating businesses, subsidiaries, divisions, mineral properties, product lines, or groups. H. Cunningham Alex Cunningham is a consultant with strong skills in diagnosing business problems, recognizing solutions, and effectuating positive change. He has both extensive management consulting and hands-on senior corporate executive management experience. His assignments include comprehensive corporate turnarounds, general management, finance, information systems analysis, organizational issues, production, and strategic market planning. He has extensive P&L Management capabilities, strong leadership and motivational skills, and extensive mergers and acquisition experience. Mr. Cunningham has been a pioneer and remains an advocate for organizational change management. He founded our firm, a nationally recognized management services company, and has over 25 years of diversified experience in management, finance, real estate, the coal industry, the telecommunications field, and investment banking. Mr. Cunningham served as a Business Analyst, Senior Executive, and as a Director overseeing Training & Recruiting for a international management consulting firm. He served as General Partner and a Principal of London Capital Corporation, a Knoxville based investment banking firm managing middle market mergers and acquisitions throughout the Southeastern United States. He served as a Director, President, and Chief Financial Officer of Vance Communications, Inc., a Lexington-based national communications company. Mr. Cunningham serves as a Commissioner of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Housing Authority and is a member of the Lexington Home Ownership Commission, Inc. where he serves as Vice Chairman. Mr. Cunningham served as Co-Chair of the 1993 Blue Grass State Games and as Co-Chair of the 1995 WUKY - Public Radio Fund Raiser. He is a past member of the Mayor's Steering Committee for the 1989 Arts & Heritage Festival and the Children's Miracle Network Classic. Mr. Cunningham volunteered several years as a Committee Member for the Sweet Sixteen Academic Auction. He has served on the Board of Directors of The Lexington Forum, The Lexington Chamber of Commerce Leadership Lexington Program, The Lexington Dream Factory, and The Pennies From Heaven foundation. Mr. Cunningham is an active member of the Institute Of Management Consultants, the International Society of Speakers, Authors & Consultants, the American Society for Quality, the Consultant's Registry of America, the Alliance of Consultants, The Consulting Alliance Network and Management Consultant Network International, the International Association of Computer Professionals, and the Consultant's Referrals, Inc. He has been selected and is a member is good standing of both the National Directory of Who's Who in Executives and Professionals and the International Who's Who of Professional Business Organizations. Mr. Cunningham is a noted lecturer and writer who has taught seminars nationally and is the Editor and Publisher of "Practical Management Development" PMC’s 18 module on-the-job leadership training system. He is the author of our "Corporate Principles" which govern the firm’s methodology and ideology.
